About FileSathi
Sending a proposal is the moment you lose visibility. FileSathi is built to close that gap.
The problem we set out to fix
You attach a PDF, hit send, and then nothing. Did it arrive? Did anyone open it? Did they read past the cover page, or stop at pricing? The follow-up email a week later — “just checking in” — is a guess dressed up as a process, and everyone on both sides of it knows so.
The information exists. It is simply thrown away the instant a file leaves your outbox.
What FileSathi does
You upload a document and share a tracking link instead of an attachment. From then on the document reports back:
- Opens — when the link was opened, and from roughly where.
- Attention per page — time spent on each page, not just a total.
- Session replay — how someone actually moved through the document.
- Engagement scoring — which recipients are worth a call today.
- Reader notes — questions captured in the document instead of lost in a thread.
The recipient installs nothing and creates no account. They open a link and read.
How we think about tracking
Analytics on a document someone else is reading deserves more care than a page-view counter. Two commitments shape how this product is built:
- The sender is accountable for the tracking. When you share a FileSathi link you decide what is collected, and you carry the obligation to have a lawful basis for it. Our Terms say so plainly rather than burying it.
- Collection is adjustable, and it is documented. Every category of recipient data — down to IP-based location lookup, which an operator can switch off entirely — is listed in the Privacy Policy, including how long each is kept.
Knowing a prospect reread your pricing page twice is a legitimate business signal. It should still be collected in the open.
Who we are
To be completed by the site owner. This section should carry your legal entity name, where the team is based, and how to reach a human. It is intentionally left blank rather than filled with invented detail. Delete this box once the real copy is in.
